At Physicians for Women, we have the training to address the gynecological needs of children and adolescents, especially those with underlying health problems. We place particular emphasis on wellness and prevention, in order to educate young women to care for and respect their bodies. When working with young patients, we focus on the tender care they need, as well as:

• Counseling about the risks of sexual activity
• Prevention of sexually transmitted diseases
• Hormonal treatment options for skin disorders such as excessive hair growth and acne
• Evaluation and treatment of menstrual cycle abnormalities
